Surf & Yoga, The perfect combo!
As part of your Surf and Yoga package, you have 6 surf lessons of 2 hours each as well a yoga lesson a day of around 1hour. This includes the use of all surf and yoga equipment.
Yoga and surfing have long gone hand in hand with many professional surfers using yoga to help improve their flexibility, core strength and surfing performance. So if you feel like you could do with a bit of stretching after a long day surfing, Yoga is a fantastic way to improve your flexibility and to strengthen your body.
Surf lessons
We usually divide groups according to their level and surf ability. We want to offer the best guest surf experience, but safety first! Our international team is fully involved in ensuring you improve your surf skills whether it’s learning to do the take-off, or ride your first green waves.
The lesson will begin with some theory, safety, and surf rules on the beach and a brief warm-up before heading out to the surf.
Yoga lessons
Our enthusiastic and professional Yoga instructors make their sessions fun and accessible to ‘Yogis’ of all levels.
Yoga lessons are in the evening. Stretch that body after a proving day in the surf. Flow to the sound of the ocean and the mosque while watching the sun go down. A magical setting to end the day and balance your chakras with a soothing yoga flow.

A typical day…
A typical day of a Surf and Yoga package would start off with a hearty breakfast with a variety of healthy options to fuel up for the day ahead. You would leave around 8h45 in the morning, to ensure you hit the surf before anyone else.
Lesson kicks off at 9h30 and will last a couple of hours. It will start off with some theory on the beach followed by some fun in the surf.
After the lesson, time for lunch! Ali has surely prepared a super healthy lunch, just enough to keep you going but not fill you up too much. You need to head out again in the arvo!
4 pm is the usual return time to the surf house, but we always remain flexible depending on conditions. However, you’ll probably be looking forward to the Moroccan tea waiting for you at the surf camp with nice Moroccan pastries…
5.30 pm the yoga lesson will start on the rooftop. Please note that time may vary depending on daylight savings.
We usually gather on the roof top after sunset and enjoy a nice cold beer or warm tea while we share all the day’s adventures. The three-course dinner is served around 8 pm.
Sleep, then repeat! Sounds good right?
Both yoga and surf classes were amazing. Both instructors are very nice and push you to reach your best and beyond. After surfing all day, the relaxing yoga on the rooftop followed by meditation during sunset, is simply priceless!

“I had a wonderful stay in Sunshine surrounded by my crazy team 🙂 Good mood guaranteed in this camp ! Irene & Reda will do everything to make you feel at home. The surf instructors are so attentive and always have good advice to improve your surf. The bedrooms and living spaces are very pleasant, the meals are just incredible for the quantity and diversity. Do not miss this place !!
“The hostel is well located, the dorm is clean and quiet, and the rooftop is probably the best view in town. Reda and Irene are amazing host and have always a good tips to share. Reda is probably the ultimate guide in town and drive you to the bests spots everyday to surf until you are tired ! He was always giving me useful tips to improve my surf. Many thanks Reda and Irene !
“Irene and Reda have turned this place into a little heaven of peace and fun, where you feel at home right away. The vibe is super positive, sharing breakfasts and dinners with all the other guests that quickly become friends, talking about your last surf sessions or joking about that hot pepper you just ate in your tajine. As a beginner, I've learnt more in a couple of sessions than in 10 classes in Biarritz, that says a lot about their commitment give you a good time. The house is also super clean, beds are comfortable, and the terrace with a view is great to watch the sunset, and their 2 loving dogs are just cherry on the cake. Highly recommend it!
“The sunshine surf Morocco is located perfectly, you can enjoy a beautiful and large rooftop from where you can watch the sunrise/ sunset, relax or practice yoga. The owners Reda and Irene are perfect hosts! they take time to help you organize your stay. Ali's cooking is delicious every day. I took the surf lessons (begginner level) package and I recommend it! I felt safe and I improved quickly with my professor Aymane who is motivated by his work. He challenged me every day and he took the time to give me plenty of advice so that I could continue to improve in France. My first trip to Morocco was a great experience and I'm looking forward to going back!
